| 9:29 pm | So there's a Carnival Day coming up soon. I'm hoping it'll be a nice change of pace from all the school, school, school we've been doing. Hopefully! I mean, the only club I'm a member of is Dueling Club and so far I haven't been included in any of their booth-preparation-stuff, but hopefully that just means I won't have to do any helping-with-booths at this carnival thing. Anyone hear about what booths clubs might be doing? |

| 10:46 pm | I can't decide if I missed my bed, my dog, my dad, or Ireland most. I mean, my bed is pretty fucking amazing. Like, I pretty much crawled into it immediately after getting home and passed out. But, well, my dog is adorable and sweet and spent all of my nap curled up against my side? And I really fucking adore her, so I suppose she ranks above the bed for being missed. Since my bed at Hogwarts isn't too bad at all. I did really miss my dad, though. He's hilarious and awesome and Merlin, I love being home. I love being back in Ireland. I love being surrounded by people who speak Gaelic, even though I sort of miss being able to speak it randomly and have almost no one understand me. I love being on hols. What's the best thing about being home for the rest of you lot? |

| 1:59 am | I'm pretty sure the rule of thumb is "if the boy comes from Durmstrang, they're either really ugly or ridiculously good looking", right? A little birdie reminded me today that the Durmstrang Gobstones Club is coming in for a visit next Friday and sticking around for two days. Fingers crossed they're attractive and male. Hogwarts could use some new, if brief, eye candy around the halls. And around the Great Hall. Speaking of attractive blokes, there's a ball in less than two weeks and I haven't heard a single person mention it in excess yet. Which is kind of surprising, since usually everyone falls all over themselves (... well, alright, mostly girls) at the idea of a date-like event that doesn't involve the Three Broomsticks. I suppose I know what I'm doing in Hogsmeade today. |

| 8:41 pm | I lasted sixteen years of my life without ever getting stung by a bee. Only to find out, when it finally happened, that I'm completely allergic. I had to swallow the nastiest potion I've ever swallowed to get the swelling to go down. I hate bees. |
